Our Experience

With over thirty years of long-term care and retail pharmacy experience, Bryan Gobin, R.Ph., leads the Care Options Rx (CORx) business as the Chief Executive Officer. Bryan provides exceptional leadership to the executive team, as well as continually overseeing the daily operations of the long-term care pharmacy.

Born and raised in south central Pennsylvania, Bryan began his pharmacy career by working at a local retail pharmacy during the summers of his high school years. Bryan attended Penn State University at University Park, PA, then completed his education with a Bachelor’s Degree of Pharmacy at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA in 1992.

Over the years, Bryan worked closely with his father, Richard Gobin, at the family’s various retail pharmacy locations in south central Pennsylvania. This gave Bryan the opportunity to develop his understanding of various customer bases and cultivate the skills necessary to lead a successful business into the future.

In 1989, Bryan and Richard made the decision to open a division of Alert Pharmacy that focused solely on the long-term care market. Bryan’s experience in community-based pharmacy paired with his technological skills created the perfect combination to grow their customer base. By complementing customer service with the fast-moving wave of technology that produced automation-driven pharmacy services, Alert Pharmacy gained attention as a provider of accurate, individualized, and innovative care.
In 2004, Bryan advanced to the position of CEO based on years of service, dedication, and expertise. Bryan transitioned the pharmacy operations from the antiquated process of hand-filling medication and maintaining paper health records to a modern approach with an intense focus on technology and efficiency. Bryan has piloted and introduced some of the pharmacy industry’s first-to-market solutions for customer electronic medical records systems, and their integration with pharmacy systems, as well as physical pharmacy workflow automation components.

January 2018 introduced an exciting time of change for Alert Pharmacy, as the division of Alert Pharmacy that focused on long-term care transitioned to Care Options Rx, LLC. As the President & CEO of Care Options Rx, Bryan continues to focus on the same respected principles, work ethic, and customer service values that make him a great team leader.

Jim Gledhill is a nurse with many years of practical experience in long term care setting. Jim has been servicing the senior care community as a client service representative and leader for the past two decades.

Jim graduated from Roman Catholic High School in center city Philadelphia, then went on to attend te Community College of Philadelphia. Jim completed the licensed practical nurse curriculum and is currently at Pennsylvania LPN.

Jim has worked for several senior care pharmacy organizations in the Pennsylvania including Continuing Care Rx, and Trinity Pharmacy Services as a nurse consultant, and client services representative.

Presently Jim leads the client services group at Care Options Rx and is a key contributor to Care Options Rx leadership team.

Laura Zell is a native of south central Pennsylvania. Laura earned her background in client services from over a decade of experience specific to the long term care pharmacy industry. She got her start in pharmacy as an employee of Care Options Rx’s predecessor, Alert Pharmacy Services. Laura excels in a variety of client focused pharmacy roles today. As a member of the CORx team, she uses her experience to support CORx in its role as an industry leader in long-term care services. Laura understands the unique needs of the customer and is a proven leader with CORx.

Laura’s core proficiencies include electronic Medication Administration Records & electronic Health Records systems, Information Technology, various facets of pharmacy workflow, as well as direct customer support and relationship management.

As an account manager for CORx, Laura is responsible for working with customers on a daily basis to help them obtain the desired outcomes from their pharmacy partnership. Laura serves as a key point of contact for the CORx customer base, as she continually strives to ensure the highest standard of quality, accuracy, and reliability when serving the industry. Laura’s unwavering dedication to creating an excellent client service experience is a valuable asset in creating long-lasting partnerships with CORx.
